Paris in videos

More Paris?! oh yeah! Here are some videos. They are of poor quality but here they are if you wanna see them.

Note: it takes SO LONG to upload these videos, so I'll update this post at least once more with new videos.

We traveled by high speed train through France to Paris. On the way back we passed through the Bordeaux region. Mile after mile of vineyards, small houses, and picture-perfect wineries rushed by. Next time we'll go by car... this is definitely a beautiful region that's worth exploring at a slower pace. That, and there are no babies screaming behind you when you take your own transportation. This happened to us on both of our longest train trips through France... 4 hours each.

Paris' music in the Metropolitan
Both the metro systems in Barcelona and Paris have spaces for musicians to perform while you are running to catch your next underground train. I'm willing to bet that Paris started it first...
What you see here is a group of musicians playing string instruments and singing. Usually, Barcelona's musical metro contributions are a guy on a guitar, or a guy playing a saxophone, or a guy playing another guitar... you get it. I really like this video because of all the different people that pass by in 30 seconds. You can't see it here, but there were a lot of people just hanging out and watching.

Hm... this one may be a little hard to see. We have photos of the Sacre Coeur in one of the earlier Paris posts. It's a place that people like to hang out at, sit on the long staircase and look across the city. This soccer dude took advantage. Here he is with his radio and soccer ball, doing some tricks and never letting the ball touch the ground. You might have to put this video in fullscreen to be able to see him there at the bottom.

Here is the (believe it or not) very end of a massive inline-skater parade. There had to have been thousands of these people, taking up the entire street -- and it was a really wide street. You'll see they had some kind of emergency vehicle escort at the end. I'm not sure of their cause, if there was one, but another roller group passed near our apartment in Barcelona not two weeks before we saw this one in Paris.
